Become a Mentor

Calling all mentors! Join the BeMORE CONNECTED mentoring program and make a difference in someone's life. Commit to a 26-week partnership, with monthly in-person or virtual interactions. Our dedicated online platform provides guided discussions and coaching sessions. Whether you have previous mentoring experience or not, our team will support and prepare you to excel as a mentor. Help shape careers, build personal brands, develop leadership skills, and foster growth in areas such as financial education, critical thinking, communication, and "soft skills." Mentor Commitment



One-cycle (26-week) commitment



1-2 hours per month on the BeMORE CONNECTED engagement and learning platform



A minimum of 1 hour per month for video chats

Mentor Qualifications



Interest in cybersecurity careers is preferred but not required. No specific field of expertise needed



At least three years of professional experience or BeMORE Secure alumni with at least one year of work experience



Internet to access BeMORE CONNECTED portal and video conference capabilities.



Interest in supporting underrepresented populations; ability to offer advice without judgment



A sincere desire to be a developer of people; proven ability to be consistent and reliable



Proactive communication and correspondence; strong listening and writing skills



Holds self and others to high standards and expectations
